Speaking just on the commercial, that was cheesy as hell.
And I loved it.
I don't have a problem with the Midseason tournament, but it devalues the average regular season game even further by making a spectacle of itself. I understand the desire to have playoff viewership during more times than just the playoffs, but the NBA has to let go of what's already in their hand to grab something new and I think they should be focusing on restoring the value of regular season games by making them more accessible in local team markets than what is essentially an ambitious push for a second period of playoff viewership.
