A little while ago there was a shit-stirring poster here who tried to write off Christopher Ward as a fancy version of an AliExpress homage brand. Now, I'm not saying this watch is perfect or anything, but I seriously don't understand how someone could say this about the company now that they've released this, the Twelve, and the Bel Canto. I have some serious respect for CW and the way they've evolved from micro to independent. I think we're going to see a lot of companies make that leap (Baltic and Formex I think are both outgrowing the microbrand label) and CW is showing how it's done.

So you haven't seen the Sugees
I can't tell the time!
Seems pricey compared to what I remember the old moonglow being (And turns out they’ve got a new moonglow too which I didn’t realise)
I want to see the aventurine in person. But it’s pretty nice.
Just The Moonphase
So what we end up with is a watch that can't be set accurately but possibly twice a month, cannot be read accurately, day or night, and is a knock on at least 3 others. Someone once said CW is like Swatch+. The Sugee is a better deal. $189
Between this and the dinger CW's finally putting out some designs I like - thanks for posting, OP
Hey what time is it?
Errrmmmm night time is all I got

Their moon looks really too simple for the price honestly. Compared to this one anyway.
my issues with moon phase is that it looks like the moon is passing over a butt. looks like someone is mooning the moon, lol
beautiful.
What’s the price on this I really like CW moonphases could someone loan me one to try out for a decade and then forget you lent it to me
People act like illiterate children like you can’t tell time without indices. You can tell time knowing where 12 and 6 are, unless if you had a stroke.
OK now I am finally interested in CW as a brand. That dial is in my opinion, better executed than any other Aventurine dial I have seen, including Lange's limited edition two-hander, which was one of my favourite dials up until now. Now just have to figure out to get one!
