A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.
Yeah they were a complete two faced asshole about it.
I was not.
YOU POSTED PICS OF A NUDE BEACH IN PUBLIC!!>!>!

Welcome to /r/photography! This is a place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of the craft.
Does it matter what I think? Is whoever banned you going to say "oh wow, those reddit guys disagree with me and now I'm going to change my mind" ?
Sounds like an unfortunate situation, but sometimes it do be like that.
Go Photoshop. Paint some clothes on the nude people.
I really can't tell if they are nude or not. If you say they are I believe you, but they could just be wearing skimpy outfits.
My point exactly. It's not offensive and not even easily determined.
Seriously? I really had to search to find the person! That's ludicrous.
It makes me think of this clip from Brass Eye about a photo of a normal-looking hillside that would send a paedophile into a frenzy because there was a child in it somewhere...
It just makes me sad the amount of censorship out there.
Ok so, not to deter your anguish any, but some random website, on some random post, banned by some random person. For a clearly stated random rule. Is upsetting, understandable. But it's one person's opinion in a huge internet . Honestly, there are tons of websites, out there. Don't get so focused on it. Be angry be upset and finally, let it go. Move on and you'll find something else.
I'm the big bad mod in question.
If you are posting a photo from a clothing optional site to post online, make sure that there are no people in the shot.
^ That was the message I sent to op, alongside a 7 day ban. Not sure how that comes across as being a two-faced arsehole.
To be clear, I believe people should be able to get their clothes off in appropriate places without the risk of being uploaded to reddit - no matter the resolution of the image in question.
It's a NUDE beach. General fucking decorum says don't take photos with people in it. let alone then post it all over reddit. ffs
It was a photo of a nude beach. Granted you could not identify my face, but I don't go to a nude beach to end up on the intgernet
