I am a beginner photographer and recently started doing professional shoots part time. I got my first event and it's a birthday party. Its 3 hrs, might go a little over. What do you typically charge for such events? By hour or flat rate? Just trying to get an idea of how much should I charge.

Edit: I am also looking for some suggestion on numbers, how much should I charge? What's the average some of you charge? I will obviously charge Lower rate being a beginner.
