That's absolutely wild to me. They have 134 rush attempts on the season and not a single one has gone for a TD. 18 total TDs (16 passing, 2 defensive).

Don’t worry. They play the Packers this weekend. We’ll make them look like the entire rest of the season was a fluke.

29th in yardage with 524 yards, in front of the Steelers, Raiders, and Bengals

I’ve watched a lot of terrible saints football and am shocked we aren’t on that list somewhere

[–] J-Fid@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Deuce McAllister?

[–] quietstorm489@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Not a great list to be included in.

[–] eattwo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

We'll make it a great list this year

[–] TaischiCFM@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Good god - The bears must have not scored at all then.

[–] Camshaft92@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Dang we're on there 3 times, all during Steven Jackson's career too

[–] halfmanhalfrobot69@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Maybe they should pick up that Dalvin Cook guy. I heard he thinks he is underutilized and looking for a new team

[–] midworst@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Honestly, would love to have him back on a more reasonable contract. He wasn’t worth the cap hit he was due, but there’s still gas in that tank.

[–] deusxanime@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think we still have dead cap hit from him for $5M this year and $3M next year. He doesn't need any more money from us. He's already getting more than he's worth from the Vikings.

[–] Gluebandit88@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

So we’re saying the Packers have a chance?

[–] thecaits@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

All Kirkball, all the time, baby. I want 80 Kirk touchdowns this year. No rushing touchdowns, just Kirk touchdowns.

Bettors are gonna bet the TD unders on Mattison Sunday and watch it go over.

[–] Rukawork@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

No Dalvin Cook is being felt.

[–] cleanRubik@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

You don't need to have a rushing TD if Wilks is dialing up Cover 0 with 10s left, so you can get a 60yrd TD.

[–] dont_wear_a_C@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Imagine if they had a good RB like Cook

[–] DrDilatory@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Surprised we aren't right there with them since we don't seem to score ANY TDs this year lol

(Recent hilarious Bills win excluded)

[–] LivingFlow@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hurts over there like “hold my beer” as he gains another single yard for another TD.

[–] JW_BM@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Somehow this will get blamed on Cousins.

[–] ServerLost@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Greg Roman isn't busy far as i know. There's a guy who loves an A gap.

[–] TitShark@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

More defensive TDs than rushing is nutty

[–] Saxophobia1275@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I can’t believe Kirk is holding back the team like this.

[–] The_Wata_Boy@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As a Mattison owner, they prefer passing when inside the 3. With that said Mattison hasn't given them any reason to believe they can pound it in.

[–] I_have_gay_knees@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Great say it two more times and it’s a guarantee to break on Sunday.

[–] lavaspike296@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The Minnesota Vikings have ZERO rushing TDs on the season.

The Minnesota Vikings have ZERO rushing TDs on the season.

[–] Frexxler@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Mattison is dogshit and despite trading for Akers, KOC hates giving him the ball for some reason.

[–] Rock_Flaccid@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It is wild how bad our rushing offense looks considering the o line play this year. We have been suffering from garbage o line for years just to finally have a good one, and completely lose our rushing attack. Doesn't help that we have had like 9 fumbles and have been often playing from behind.

[–] Snakebaur03@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

CJ Ham tush push

[–] Slowsnale@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Far from AP days HA HA

[–] VikingPain@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bring me King Henry!

[–] Morphenominal@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Don't worry. They'll get it this week.

[–] lavaspike296@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hopefully 3 or 4 of them.

[–] ufotheater@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Seems unsustainable

[–] astonedgazelle@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Same with Green Bay

[–] Pod_of_Blunders@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I wonder if it's too late to trade for an under-utilized running back like, say, Dalvin Cook

[–] wxguy215@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah that will definitely change.

[–] unwinagainstable@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Reinforces my belief Mattison is not good in short yardage situations.

[–] beach_muscles@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

And I am starting Mattison. Wish me luck gents.

[–] grensley@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This offense would be unstoppable if it just didn't give touches to Alexander Mattison. It's like he's a double agent that ruins drives. Teams basically don't guard the dump off against us because they know they can open field tackle him every time.

[–] treenorthXne@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I'd say he has cinder blocks for hands but there's a remote chance a football could get stuck in a cinder block for a completion.

Yeah well my other team has 3 passing tds on the season and one of those was from Derrick Henry.

[–] Pretty_Series_862@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Knowing the packers, the vikings are gonna lead the league in rushing touchdowns this week

[–] Sjdillon10@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Mattison was a terrible fantasy pick

[–] -Shooter-McGavin-@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Another fun fact about the Vikings is they've never won a Superbowl in franchise history. Not even close.

[–] AterReddits@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Putting all my money on over 2-1/2 rushing TDs sgainst the packers this week.

[–] yupthatsmee@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

How the fuck did the niners lose to them…

[–] loupr738@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It reminds me of that movie with the racist coach that the black dude rushed the team all the way to the five and he would substitute a white guy to get the TD. I think Paul Walker was in it

[–] iShatInYourBed@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Can Cam Akers make a difference the rest of the season for Minnesota? The Rams did not want the guy for a reason. I thought he was going to be a star in the league at running back. It’s so common at the running back position to see a guy that pops off the screen or looks great in the beginning of their career for a season or two and then they just aren’t the same player anymore.
