While Kirk has probably played better than most people think he has recently, having him did not make the Vikings "contenders". The closest they came was the Minnesota Miracle or losing to the 49ers in '19.

Having a mid-tier QB (which Kirk is, regardless of what his season stats say) on a top-of-market cap hit ensures you don't make any waves in the playoffs. Vikings have been lucky that they hit on Jefferson right after shipping off Diggs.

Honestly, if i'm spending 5K, i'll stretch and get the OP41, or the Explorer 1. Both amazing watches with storied histories.

Realy depends what you're into.

49ers “should” be 7-2, b/c of a missed field goal. If we really have fixed our defense issue then we are way better than our 6-3 record. If not, we are exactly where we should be.

I don't do this simply because it would partially take away from the joy of having the real thing. For me, part of that joy is seeing it on my wrist for the first time, the unboxing experience etc. If I have a crappier version of that experience before the "real thing" then I'm purposely taking away from my own enjoyment.

Plus, most watches (even highly sought after ones) can be tried on before buying. These aren't cars, you're not going to find anything surprising about it 3 days into ownership that you couldn't 20 mins at the store.

Watches are both Jewelry and Accessory for me. Looks good, adds to my enjoyment and has some functionality. I wouldn't call it utility since anything the watch does for me, other devices (that are usually on me) can do better.

You don't need to have a rushing TD if Wilks is dialing up Cover 0 with 10s left, so you can get a 60yrd TD.
