They are all shite. All platforms are dead for the average (stills) creative unless you already have a large following. If you want interaction, you need to make videos (Reels/TikToks).

A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.
I use 500px sparingly and only because I have a portfolio attached there. exposure.co will probably be my next full time move once I sort out domain /portfolio stuff but generally I canβt be arsed to move right now.
Pixiset seems to be what a lot of folks I know use but, again, you get what you pay for.
I use 500px, but very rarely. So far, I have found the youpic.com platform for my portfolio. Not sure if this is exactly what you need, but as an online portfolio I like this site (has apps for Android and iPhone).

It has paid features of course, but I use it as a portfolio and just add one photo a day.
