A healthy Kawhi is like asking for a Giannis with 85% FT percentage. Sure, I guess in some alternate timeline it’s possible, but it’s basically a different player

It’s Luka losing to the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals after being up 3-1 and then joining them. They’d have to take some time to figure out the offense because Luka’s only ever played one way, but I think they could do it. If that ever happens I legitimately don’t know how anyone else wins a title for 5 years at least.

You couldn't script that in today's game. It's like if Tatum or Luka were good enough to be a unanimous top 3 guy in the world, then they decided to go play the 2 for the Nuggets, right after the nuggets beat them in the finals/conference finals in embarrassing fashion.
It has to be a top mvp candidate going to a top 3 team at least.

Nuggets not nearly as stacked as people itt think. Jokic/Embiid to the Celtics or Suns or Bucks would be most similar.

Mavs losing to the Nuggets in the conference finals after being up 3-1, and Luka demands a trade and says he’ll only play for the Nuggets due to his friendship with Jokic. This upsets almost all of the NBA fan base because he just lost to them, they are already stacked(Murray has taken a leap to All-NBA levels) and he demanded a trade to only one specific team. Despite this, the Mavs trade Luka for MPJ, Braun, Watson, every other young player in the roster, and all of their picks.
