This was the default men's wrist watch size for decades until maybe the late 1990s. It looked fine then, it looks fine now, and people who are like "is my 36mm/34mm watch too small" really just need to relax.

I think that looks fine. I've one that size with the 7.5 wrist (yeah, finding bracelets is super fun when the extra link is $250). Not everything needs to be visible from across the room. being understated yet classy is its own vibe
I always make sure the bracelet will be big enough for me when considering a purchase or at least factor extra links into my offer price.
Man I love rocking small and big watches I got stuff from 36 to 44mm and fortunately like you I got a 7.5" wrist so I can comfortably wear all of them.
Classssssssss
I have a 1984 Rolex OP Date with 34mm, and my wrist is 7-1/4", it looks and feels fine to me. Yours looks great. My largest watch is 43mm, and it also wears fine. Different look/uses, but it really is a matter of personal perspective & opinion. I kinda think, as a rule for me, around 39-40mm is my sweet spot, but everyone is different. That is a great office/dress size for you.
