If someone is mentioning Vacheron Constantin and utilitarian watches in the same breath, tool might not be the watch.
A tool watch is adapted to its operating environment and the person that operates in that environment.
This was the default men's wrist watch size for decades until maybe the late 1990s. It looked fine then, it looks fine now, and people who are like "is my 36mm/34mm watch too small" really just need to relax.
Buying things is not a hobby
