What the fuck, the asshole that won the dispute had TEN downloads on Google play and launched only a few months ago
The reason that I'm pissed so much for just a name (karakeep can be found with a search engine much easier) is that I had a domain that started with "er" so it was so funny to have it installed as hoard.erXXXXXXX.com 😂
Karakeeper still works at least?
😆 number one!
I can't seem to find it. I want to know what their product is.
The other app is called similarly, but with the "e" missing.
"Hoarder" but misspelled, like Grindr
It's a massive success, Google play says downloaded between 1 to 10 times worldwide
Oh wow.
Agreed. And bonus points for it evoking what it does in English as well (the "keep" bit). It's easy to pronounce, understandable, short enough, and has a fun etymology.
the new name is pretty slick so not all that bad
Picked up the story a while back. See, it would not do me good to have this happen to me. If I were forced to rename it, it would be the most deliberate, yet creative, slur against the other product.
