since YT started the "shorts" bullshit. Highly recommended if you are civilized person who is not OK with vertical videos.

Nobody really wanted them, but now that people are using it, you want to limit it? The entire executive roster for alphabet needs to take a submarine ride
But they don't let you to entirely block them either but only to hide them for 30 days at a time.
They probably figured that shorts don't generate as much as a video with an ad break every 2 minutes.
I just used an extension to block them. They kept trying to feed me right-wing bullshit. Easy fix
I migrated away from the mobile app to PipePipe just to avoid shorts and I pay for premium.
