I like this answer but you know what he really should have said Vogel should have called the timeout.

Smart. If he blames the ref, Silvers will fine him.

Not a good night for Arizona teams.

Nice he is owning it I did think at first watching it he just assumed he was fouled and let him take the ball from him like that. You can hate the no call but you still gotta play through.

Play thru the whistle, but also he's anticipating the foul and until the whistle you keep the ball to the body, elbows bent (not straight with the ball above your shoulders) and pivot, pivot, pivot.

Definitely a shitty no call to end the game but realistically should have never been in the this situation to begin with. We clearly thought we had the game in the bag within the last 2-3 minutes based on how we were playing and stopped putting in the right effort, the Spurs never stopped playing hard up until the final seconds

Book and Beale left him hanging again

In this situation, could a player just throw the ball directly overhead as high as they could, without it crossing the out-of-bounds threshold? Surely it would stay up for a good three seconds at least.

I have always wondered this.

[–] Statalyzer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Sure but if you midjudge how much hang time you can get, the opponent can recover (there was a famous play like 20 years ago where this happened and the opponents got a buzzer-beater 3 out of it)

Spoken like a true hooper tbh

KD doesn't box out, he just doesn't.

That's what a real hooper would say
