You guys are insane. Watching this in the moment, it looked clean as hell. If refs are gonna call a foul EVERY TIME a player swings their head back on a seemingly clean steal, cmon now. You'd all be so fucking pissed.

I slow-moed it. Start counting when the gather starts (when his hand is clearly in a catching position and not in a dribble) it's 2 more steps. It's an NBA thing

#3 wanted it more, full stop. No matter what camera angle or the speed of the highlight, that's the first thing I saw and I'm sure that's true for the refs in real time. Punishing the Spurs for that kind of dedication would be a worse PR move than assuming that some ticky-tack thing is the reason Durant couldn't pass (or hold onto) the ball.
