Enjoy it :D.
I just replaced my ten year old Shure SRH940 which gave me the same experience with the Hifiman Sundara.

Hey have do ya get a “crack” sound when swiveling the earcup left or right on the slider
The spicy treble turned me away from the DT 1990 but it’s good that it doesn’t bother you. They are better than the DT 990 for the detachable cable and probably a few other upgrades.
I picked focal elegia over yours and hate them so much!
Those are really good. The ugly side is that to upgrade to something which is clearly better, you need to spend a lot ;) I'm sure you will stick to them for a while.
Hey we in the same bought I got mines like 2 days ago and theyyy baaaalllinn. Btw I got a question for you do yours have a CRACK like sound on the sliders when you swivel the ear cup from left to right?
No, I don't hear any cracks
i have the 990s as well and still remember the first time using them. i was completely blown away. like everyone else has stated here that you really do hear things in songs that you never heard before. its crazy.
