Buck and aikman aka bad and worse

Twenty-two years? I didn't even know Aikman had been retired that long.

Analysts can only handle Collinsworth for so long. Then they bounce.

Don’t mind these two

That doesn't mean they're the best.

Tirico and Gruden were the best of all time.

It's crazy to think that a whole generation of fans hear Buck and Aikman as the sound of football the same way I hear Summerall and Madden.

I really like Aikman. As an Eagles fan, it’s always been tough, but I respect him. That being said I think all those hits are taking a toll on Troy, mentally. He’s been slipping lately. Joe Buck can go eat a bag of dicks though.

As opposed to Romo who I think has gotten significantly worse as he started to care less, Aikman has gotten so much better now that he cares less. He’s less afraid to criticize QBs who are struggling (even when it’s the star QBs), which in turn makes his praises that much more poignant. That’s not to say it’s super blatant—he is still a media personality, after all—but it’s way more than others, which is nice.

I call him Buck Joe. My dad hated his dad and called him Buck Jack. He was the announcer for the St Louis Football Cardinals. Cowboys had a player named Pettis Norman that Buck always called Norman Pettis. Then he had that cringy “Looky there” call. Aikman is a monotone moron. , HE ran a curl route. , HE should have caught that. I was taught not to do that in elementary school and it drives me crazy. Equivalent to “We was going.”

These guys are professionals that have good enough personalities to mage it work. Probably the best two in football right now

Joe Buck only got his first gig due to nepotism. How he's managed to keep it is just beyond me. Although, thanks to David Croft now being on ESPN, he is no longer the absolute dirt worst commentator on American TV.

I never hated Joe Buck, but I will say this commentary has gotten so bad but slowly we all wish Buck and Aikman would call more games.
