Hello! I'm looking to update my homelab with some 10gb fiber to my servers. I currently have some 3Com 5500G-EI switches, but they only support SFP at 1gb. I'm hoping to find something with 4-6 SFP+ ports and 12 or so 1gb ports. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Brocade icx 6610. Do the fan mod so it's near silent and cool. There are sites dedicated to completely unlocking it's abilities.

Get the 24 (or 48) port PoE 1GbE - 8x 10GbE SFP+ ports and 4x 40GbE QSFP ports (QSFP on the rear). 2 of the 40G ports can be broken down into 8x 10GbE SFP+ ports the other 2 are strictly 40GbE QSFP.

To split the 2 QSFP ports into 8 SFP+, you need to buy 2x QSFP <-> 4x SFP+ cable.

The thing is a beast and quiet after the mod.

Update: I ended up finding an IBM G8052 on eBay for $55. It has 48 1gb ports and 4 10gb sfp+ ports. We'll see how it works out
