As a refs fan, this was a classic. And Giannis got ejected for taunting! Never been more refs parity in the league!

[–] thePDGr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I can already feel the voters' MVP FATIGUE in my bones

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What was that Klay shot at the end? Did the ball sli

[–] shffldair@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

warriors lookin scary

[–] iambiggzy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Steph is gonna have to go ‘17 MVP supernova to ever beat the nuggets in the playoffs

[–] doctor_of_drugs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thank you Denver I love you

[–] dbgager@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Reggie filling in for MUrray nicely..20 pts.

[–] Raonak@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Really impressed by how we played.

[–] Jhco022@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Joker dropped 35 but it felt like 50.

[–] dbgager@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Joker still 14-25 after taking like 8 3s..wow..

[–] -Sticks_and_Stones-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I hope Jokic gave Looney his jersey. Looney was holding it all night, might as well let him take it home.

[–] Pootahtoo_Man@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’m tired boss

[–] xap31@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

What will the NBA do to that obvious goaltending missed call?

[–] AdolCristian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The same thing they made to ever single other miss call: nothing.

[–] Sokkawater10@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Steph had his worst game of the season and played like he was super tired tonight. And the warriors kept it close. This team is a genuine contender this year unlike the pretender last year

[–] WTpower@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Can someone explain to me why the last play where Moody dove out of bounds to the ball no reviewable? Looked like it could’ve gone both ways

[–] penguin_torpedo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is such an interesting matchup, you just feel like both defenses are hanging by a thread on every possession because of the ridiculous pressures of Curry and Jokic.

[–] Green_Space729@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Warriors might of lost but Chris Paul running their secondary is such a cheat code.

The young’s get way more reps and in game experience with Chris Paul being the insurance.

[–] Chopped_In_Half@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Close losses are always hard, but I expected a total bloodbath. Considering everything, I can live with it.

GG Denver

[–] Pulsing_Fantasticals@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

God the refs and Mark Jones were hot caca lol.

Fun game, felt like neither team really played their best

[–] doordaesh@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

that lineup with paul and the kids that came back at the end of the 3rd was a lot of fun.

[–] RugbyFury6@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A lot more energy, that’s for sure. Been a rough stretch away from home with a bazillion games packed in—have done well despite that. Happy to have an energetic and decent bench this year to keep games like this competitive! Looking forward to a homestand and a chill out on the scheduling.

[–] waltjdoug@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

No idea why CP3 thought it was ok for him to take a heroic 3 at the end instead of giving it to Curry. But gg Nuggets. Will love to see the results when Green comes back

[–] Sekao23@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Fair enough, but we’re also looking forward to seeing the results when Murray comes back too.

[–] waltjdoug@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Very fair too. I’m thinking the Warriors have a shot to win it this year

[–] by_yes_i_mean_no@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Was a great game, really would like to see this playoff series

[–] nazario87@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I recognize that Denver has played a lot of games lately.

But i find it funny that some keep bringing it up when they just played the team that has gotten screwed tenfold more than them in the leadup to this match. I dont think any sane nuggets-fan would have wanted their schedule to be swapped with the warriors'

[–] icantreadmorsecode@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Jokic gave the warriors multiple chances to win and they still didn't manage to do so

[–] Raonak@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That missed goaltend was so bad.

[–] P3_FemC_Best_Girl@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Fun game, can't wait to see the runback with both teams healthy. TJD is a godsend rook, Wiggs SLOWLY finding his offense, but both teams were sloggy af, but the Nugs hit their 3s when it counted at the end. Wish Curry tried to hit a 3 instead of the tear drop leaving 5secs

[–] herejusttolooksee@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Honestly that missed goaltending was big. It’s 2 points for the dubs but also sets the defense on the otherwise potentially preventing that subsequent goaltending on the other end…

Also can’t believe Steph missed that finger roll at the end, feels so automatic.

[–] Padulsky21@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

KCP did one of the best jobs you can possibly do on Steph tonight. Fought over screens to track him, ran across court to make sure he wasn’t out of his sight, followed each redirection.

Absolutely incredible defensive performance by him.

[–] Shame_Low@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

KCP is all defense and arguably DPOY so far. That's all

[–] elchico97@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Both teams looked exhausted. Warriors been traveling nonstop and Denver played 7 games in 11 days. Win is a win.

[–] El_Jeff_ey@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ugly win but every win matters in the standings.

[–] Sinaneos@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I am absolutely shooketh how jokic gets 35+ points so effortlessly. No flashy moves, no big 3 pointers, just solid shots all around.

While watching the game I was convinced that it's actually an inefficient game from him. Then I saw that he got 35, daaaaaaamn.

[–] topazswissmas@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He is just automatic anywhere near the rim. Most of his misses are all the 3’s he’s yoloing to try and put away the game early so he can get some rest.

[–] vonkillbot@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That's way too many games from both of these teams recently. GG Nugs, hope we both are healthy next time around.

[–] krldrummerboy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

how did Podz play?

[–] LavenderAutist@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How long can they keep this up during the season?

[–] CupertinoCA@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I thought looney did well against Joker and he still finished with 35 lmao. Dudes amazing

[–] zolanphe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I hate it when announcers like Mark Jones literally ONLY refer to Jokic as “Joker”. Like dude your job is to talk for a living just learn how to say the NBA’s best player’s name correctly it can’t be that hard.

[–] FernBlueEyes@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Nuggets at home 🔥
