in my opinion, chet will deserve more but wemby will get it because of the overhype about him.

BOTW race going to be crazy. It should have been Michael Patrick Porkins by a mile, but his father giving oral was completely unnecessarily imo. Dark horse candidate is easily Taffy Lee Fubbins. Can’t forget Bart Harley Jarvis either, despite the aggression and the completely flat back of the head.
The basketball fan in me says Chet, the corporate cynic in me says Wemby.
Chet is currently playing better and more deserving but since NBA awards are narrative driven Wemby will end up winning if they're any where close to each other.
Chet has been better thus far. He would be my pick
NBA is hyping Wemby extremely hard.

It will be Wemby based off hype alone, Chet is doing amazing but in all honesty not much he can do to win the vote due to how hyped Wemby was/is
Purely looking at those base stats doesn't show the fairly big impact of wemby on defense.

"Wemby beat the Suns" will get him to Christmas, and we will see after that. Any talk of Wemby's usage will be misplaced when the Spurs are developing a 19 year old on how to learn his spacing and how to be a shot creator. He won't be taking hits at center this year.
It's going to by Wemby unless he misses significant time. Chet would have to be vastly superior in order to get the benefit of the doubt.

Chet is playing as the 3rd, sometimes 4th option on his team. Wemby from game 1 has been the #1 option, and every single team is having to shift how they play against us. Unless something changes it shouldn't even be a conversation come voting time.
