I'm talking the wide end of your personal analysis range, which could be narrow (the extreme being PHI v KC) or very wide (something like PIT v ATL).

For me, I would have it at 5 teams in each Conference, in this order -- that's it:

PHI SF DAL DET/NO

KC CIN/BAL JAX BUF

So basically you could say based on current odds, that the longest shot SB Matchup I could possibly see occurring would be NO v BUF, although I definitely prefer JAX to BUF.

Seahawks are better than the saints

Philly & KC, round 2. But I’m rooting for Detroit to shock the world.

[–] MaosenEisner@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Minnesota belongs in the conversation. Dobbs could end up being him.

[–] theverybest27@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think it's KC or BAL vs PHI

I'd love a CIN or JAX vs DET Superbowl though

Buffalo beating Dallas would be awesome too

Lions vs Chiefs, the season begins and ends with these two teams facing each other, the NFL set this storyline up and I’m fucking here for it!

[–] F1reatwill88@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I think the Browns have a real shot at making it if most or all of the AFC North makes the playoffs.

Which is kind of wild until you start thinking about it.

Philly ir possibly SD. Not as high on them after their losing streak. AFC 1. Cincy 2.KC way distant 3 is baltimore

[–] Brycie27@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I wouldn't hate a Jets v Lions SB. Obviously, Cowboys v Bills/Chiefs/Dolphins would be ideal.

Bengals Vs 49ers

[–] RonTheChicken@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

AFC: Jags, Steelers, Texans, Browns, Jets

NFC: Commies, Seahawks, Vikings, Falcons, Bucs

[–] Sinnerandsmoke@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Sending you good vibes from Mexico!

[–] PioneerMutation@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Teams that have a real shot are KC, Cinci, Balt, Phi, Dal, and SF. I would love to be wrong on some of those.

Eagles vs Ravens. Book it.

[–] Cheap-Insect-6493@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Cold takes: Eagles, 49ers, Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, and maybe Bills.

Hot takes: Seahawks, Lions, Dolphins, Texans, Jaguars.

Scorching hot takes: Saints, Vikings, Steelers, Browns, Titans (with Levis).

That said, it's obviously Chicago.

[–] TRES_fresh@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

PHI DAL DET SF

BAL KC JAX BUF CIN

widest would be Bengals vs. Lions/49ers, whoever you consider to be the weaker team right now

[–] HermDog04@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

NFC: Eagles, 49ers, Cowboys, Lions

AFC: Chiefs, Ravens, Dolphins, Bills, Bengals, Jaguars, Browns (only if Deshaun plays better)

[–] Lorjack@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I really think its going to be KC and Philly rematch

[–] Lovnsmash@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Bro tried to sneak New Orleans in there

[–] Cicero912@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Having us at 5th in the NFC would make sense.

[–] OutboardTips@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

SF v Bal the rematch

[–] MassiveResolution7@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

AFC in order:

  1. Chiefs. (Clearly have the highest ceiling.)
  2. Bengals. (I believe in Burrow.)
  3. Ravens. (Very complete team. Ravens vs Bengals playoff game would be very interesting)
  4. Jaguars. (Lawrence is a good enough quarterback to win a Super Bowl and Allen is the most underrated pass rusher in the NFL.)
  5. Bills. (Have the pieces but Allen needs to take better care of the ball and himself.)
  6. Dolphins. (Show flashes but always seem to play like girls against good teams.)

NFC in order:

  1. Eagles. (Clearly have the highest ceiling.)
  2. 49ers. (Great roster on both sides of the ball. The question is whether Purdy can get the job done in the playoffs.)
  3. Cowboys. (Micah Parsons is a beast and Lamb is underrated but I don't trust Dak and the Cowboys struggle to finish against good teams.)
  4. Lions. (They've played well this season and the roster is good but it's hard to fully believe in them because they're the Lions.)
  5. Seahawks. (Have shown flashes but Geno hasn't been the same as last year.)
  6. Saints. (Carr is up and down but the Saints have a great defense that forces a lot of turnovers.)

My overall top 5:

  1. Chiefs.
  2. Eagles.
  3. Bengals.
  4. Ravens.
  5. Tomorrow's Jaguars/49ers winner.

That Bills team is lucky to not be 3-6 and have a very tough second half schedule. They have a very good chance of not making the playoffs at all.

Philadelphia and Kansas City or Philadelphia and Baltimore

[–] MooseHeavy3675@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Baltimore with a run game is dangerous. If their defense can be more consistent, I think it’s between them and the chiefs for the AFC.

It pains me to say this as a giants fans, the eagles are the clear favorite for the nfc. San Francisco will contend but they’ve been way too hurt. I think Detroit will be very very fun and with a lot of luck can definitely make it. If there’s a team to replicate the 07 giants run of luck, it’s them.

My Super Bowl prediction is ravens eagles personally, barring any major injuries to either team

[–] goldybear@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Tommy D is going to the G-men on a run to a wild card spot and the Jets will scratch and claw their way to one as well. Tommy becomes a Nick Foles like hero as he dominates the playoffs and reaching the Super Bowl. Rodgers comes back for the playoffs and the Jets scorch all their competitors. Finally we see a NYG/NYJ Super Bowl where Rodgers leg is literally torn off on the field, and after they have wiped up all the blood Zach Wilson will lead a jets comeback for their first SB win since Nameth. Calling it now and you can go ahead and start building the Zach statue NY.

My top 2 from each conference in order, TODAY. A lot can change: Ravens, Jaguars, Eagles, Lions.

For now, I think Ravens vs. Eagles is most likely, with the Ravens winning.

Anything can happen.

[–] monsterofthedeep3@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I have a weird feeling it’s gonna be a Bengals-Eagles Super Bowl

[–] Mr_Schneeblay@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Smh the Tommy DeVito slander is insane

If I’m going for a slight outsider in each conference (not KC PHI SF), then I’d go Ravens and Cowboys.

Ravens look great on all fronts and all the other AFC teams look worse than you’d expect. I still don’t think they’ll be able to play from behind with that offense/ Lamar but the defense might be able to stop that happening.

Cowboys defense just has something special. There’s so many playmakers that I could easily see them beating “better” teams. They played well against the Eagles and Purdy doesn’t look as good now he’s lost a few.

If I’m just making a prediction then it’s a repeat of last year. KC and PHI are so far clear of everyone else.

[–] j24540@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I would put Cleveland and the Chargers in the mix for the Superbowl as well in the AFC, including the other favorites.

[–] akmjolnir@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Not my team.

[–] SpaceCowboy317@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Right now, Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, Ravens, Lions, 49ers. Pretty much any team with a winning record every team is beatable this year.

[–] SerbianDeath@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Is it me or does most teams this year feel very mid, it feels like most teams are near .500

[–] raphtafarian@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I don't even think the Bills will make the playoffs. They're lucky to not be 3-6. They almost lost to the Giants without Saquon and almost lost to the Bucs. They have a tough second half schedule compared to the other AFC teams in the hunt.

The Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Chargers and even Texans have an easier 2nd half & have a shot at getting to the playoffs over the Bills.

Chiefs vs Eagles 9ers or Cowboys
