So, last year I decided I really wanted a pair of over the head headphones (I usually use AirPods), but obviously tried a bunch of them out. I have many friends with Bose, Sony, and Beats headphones- but none in my opinion had the same kind of sound quality that the Max's had- with only the Sony XM5's coming close imo. While they are an extremely premium product especially for headphones that usually range from 100-500, I think they're totally worth it. They're incredibly easy to clean, comfortable, made with high quality materials, and the sound is truly truly amazing- especially with the Dolby Atmos feature on Apple Music. SO amazing.

is this a paid promotion or something?

Though I don’t fully agree, I do think the max is pretty good especially pairing it with other apple products . The seamless transitions and ease of use makes it the only brand I trust for my parents. Also the pass through is the best I tried tho I haven’t tried the new xm5s yet so that might change.

But yea, don’t be afraid of the down votes. Voice your opinion and if it’s just an opinion, then it’s just different in taste. Getting the facts wrong, then learn from it. I don’t get why some ppl get so fired up when they get down voted.

Glad you are enjoying the max. Sometimes with so much going on with life, apple’s product helps especially when you don’t have to mess with it and it just works.

Glad you're enjoying them!

It's always funny to see non-audiophiles wander into this sub. The title really felt troll-coded, but reading the actual post I could see you were being real.

Honestly I have recently been going for my APM over my HD600 after testing around with the accommodations, balanced sound profile thing. It's so close it's scary, and it has more soundstage and bass.

I had not listened to my APM in like over a year.

I don't know if this thread was a big shill for the fruit company, but after using some Airpods "MAX" I will say they suck and are muddy af and the microphones are terrible. They are exactly the gen 1 Apple product I try to stay away from but at half price used I took the plunge.

Will I sell them, well no. They seem like the perfect airport headset. Plenty of "I don't want to talk with you" plainly visible with quality ANC for those noisy occasions.

Spent most of today enjoying the LCD-X/Quidlex combo, infinitely superior in every way.
