Something to keep in mind is that most of these headphones with water/sweat resistance ratings only means it is resistant to splashes aka short term exposure. Not being submerged underwater or in the rain for lengthy periods of time.

iTunes on windows does not support lossless audio yet. No your phone is not limiting anything.

Honestly I have recently been going for my APM over my HD600 after testing around with the accommodations, balanced sound profile thing. It's so close it's scary, and it has more soundstage and bass.

I had not listened to my APM in like over a year.

Sounds like you have spatial audio turned on, make sure it is off. It's a gimmick that creates some soundstage at the expense of the tuning/timbre.
