Hope it's not a loan. £ in alongside INEOS new boys in the driving seat could mean a winger coming in to replace him if we can sell.

Saudi Arabia: "We are here to buy your regrets"

[–] NickNova3016@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Still don't regret Richy, fucking love the lad.

[–] Richard_Arlison69@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He’s not played well as a 9, but he’s not been a bust. Has had several assists in his last few games playing from the LW. And has been playing through injury recently.

Richie isn’t giving up on getting his Brazil place back

[–] LevelArea@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Needs to focus on nailing down his position at Tottenham first, let alone Brazil

[–] magicalcrumpet@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

He lost his striker position to son. Got pushed out to the left wing and he’s been replaced by Johnson who’s looked more impactful so far this season. With a complete fit squad his best chance will be an impact sub. If he wants to solidify his spot in Brazil his best chance is to leave

[–] Karlito1618@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I actually don't know if I would say Johnson looks more impactful so far this season. Richy has 4 g/a with medium play time, and he does a lot off the ball to hold up players. There's always 1-2 players standing on top of Richy every game he's on.

That being said, he's far away from being where he needs to be, and Johnson could easily be the better choice.

[–] sankers23@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah that aint happening.

[–] iamnotexactlywhite@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

well he wont unless he starts to be good at football

[–] PhysicalScholar4238@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sancho, there's a possibility. I'd be amazed if Richarilson goes to Saudi Arabia. Especially considering he could be injured then still.

[–] staycoolwilson@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I mean Sancho has already turned down a move to Saudi at the start of the season so I think it's unlikely for him.

[–] Danthehumann@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That was before the whole apology debacle though. Maybe (hopefully) he’s had a change of heart

[–] PhysicalScholar4238@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Where do you see him going then in January?

[–] roger_the_virus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I could see a loan to a continental team where Utd cover some of his wages. He might be tempted to wait and see what happens to ETH before making a decision in the summer.

The only way to really prevent these moves from happening, is for international managers to not cal up Saudi league players

[–] -RadThibodeaux@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Sancho to Saudi Arabia is a get out of jail free card for both club and player. United should do a bundle deal with Casemiro and Varane

[–] FalafelGrim2@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

How's a Saudi move a jail-free card for him, besides it just being a massive pay cheque? He was touted as someone who would go on to be one of the best players of his generation. It'd be a massive shame if he just gives up and retires before even turning 25.

I think its also way too early for Richarlison to consider it too - he's only 26.

[–] Cottonshopeburnfoot@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Assuming it’s a short enough contract he could go out there and use the clean slate to prove commitment and (at least to that leagues level) skill. Still plenty of time for him to return to Europe.

[–] TheKingMonkey@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Such is the problem with golden handcuffs. There are probably a dozen clubs where Sancho would be a good fit and see him recapture his Dortmund form, none of them can afford the financial package it would take to find out.

[–] Purple_State7994@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

the problem for any of those clubs is that he's only recapturing his form if they can get him to sort out his attitude and approach to his fitness, that's a massive risk.

[–] Lost_And_NotFound@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

We should be keeping Sancho until at least we know if Ten Hag is still managing us come August 2024. A January loan is all we should be targeting.

[–] ArousedByCheese1@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Would save nearly 1 million a week if they did. Absurd contracts given out by the club.

[–] Unholysinner@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

How is it a get out of jail card for Sancho.

He is still talented and by going to Saudi hes retiring…

[–] DontYouWantMeBebe@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

A lot of the worst FIFA players are in Saudi, you could smash weekend league Jadon

[–] TheAwakened@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The most toxic too. Day 1: Load as many FPs as they can, buy all top players, just make a toxic mess of the actual game, quit after going 2-3 down.

[–] Reach_Reclaimer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

fm24 apparently added a get rid of your deadwood feature

Pretty realistic tbh

[–] Malicharo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

i like fm24 more than 23 and 22. i think they did well with this version. especially with how the saves work now, i think it's a milestone game.

[–] JohnViran@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Haven't tried it since release because I'm play the Finnish top flight, but in my beta save the intermediaries couldn't find me buyers for Martial, Erikson, Hannibal, and a few other players.

Erikson was pissed because I wasn't playing him every game (why would I when Mount fit my system better and Bruno has a strop if you don't play him for every minute he's available), and Martial got upset that I pulled a Fergie Hairdrier on the team when we lost to Everton. Apparently him, Hannibal, Garnacho and Pellistri all thought I was too harsh.

The only one who didn't drop the concern was Martial and his agent nor intermediaries could find a buyer outside of Watford who wanted him on loan for nothing.

ETH about to send Jason Sanchez to Saudi Arabia just because he is a gamer

[–] clantpax@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As a City fan, it pains me to say this, but sancho is doing wonders for united, I see no reason he should accept a move to Saudi

[–] Orcnick@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Look even if we can get a fraction of his price a full sale and getting his wages off would be massive.

Richy come home instead don't become Henderson

[–] TehJofus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I’ll be sad if Richie goes to Saudi, he deserves better.

And by better I mean come back to Everton pls pls pls

[–] BendubzGaming@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Richy back to you and the Dele fee waived in return for Branthwaite is a deal I'd be very happy with

[–] Hurtelknut@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bring out yer busts!

[–] Mend35@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If the deal to Saudi falls through. They should just swap players. Maybe a new environment will help.

[–] BendubzGaming@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I know Henderson only went this summer, but I'd be surprised if someone as outspokenly left wing as Richarlison went to Saudi Arabia

[–] Hot-Possible-6367@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If you asked Henderson if he was left wing or right wing he’d tell you with a straight face that he prefers the breast. Richarlison is actually politically conscious, not just when it suits him.

[–] vulturevan@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Can't see Richarlison going there, he loves fans.

[–] Purple_State7994@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

How many players in recent memory have so spectacularly torpedoed their own career as Sancho? He was hyped to be one of the top players of his generation and instead, he puts in no effort, gets given plenty of time and space, then pubically insults his manager at the very lightest criticism and refuses to back down.

[–] Martoxic@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

can Saudi stop bailing out PL...

[–] mb2banterlord@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Targeted? I wouldn't walk into any Saudi Arabian embassies if I were them

[–] FoggingEstandards@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Literally no one attends the games there. A soulless venture. Business or sport.

[–] MannyMike7@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Get ready to learn Arabic, buddy

[–] stebus88@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

All things considered, Sancho is my all-time disappointing United signing. We need to count our lucky stars if a Saudi club takes him off our hands.

Watching him at Dortmund, he was electric. I thought he was going to be amazing for us.

The truth is, he has a poor mentality and his dribbling doesn’t really count for much in the PL as he’s neither fast or strong. I can count on one hand how many good games he has had for us. He’s mostly anonymous.

[–] FoggingEstandards@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Richarlison will spit at their offer

Can't see Richarlison leave tbh. It still looks like he has a lot to give to Spurs and is willing to fight. Plus he holds the CL in high regards and has a chance to qualify for it with us.

[–] fetissimies@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Can I tempt you with Danny Ings?

[–] ForzaJuventusFC@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I sincerely hope my Juve doesn't go for Sancho
