The Miami Heat has top scouts in the league

He has such a different game. Anybody want to choose a comparison?
Jaime Butler
Bigger, not as athletic, Jimmy Butler.
Miami drafting well…ya dont say
We miss sometimes. Precious Achiuwa couldn't get good run here. Toronto seems to utilize him better.
Precious and Winslow were monster draft mistakes if you look behind them.
He’s also extremely fun to watch because his game is so polished and he almost never does dumb rookie stuff.
He can win the SROY, (Scrappy Rookie of the Year)
dude's got 8 balls?
He plays like a 10 year vet not a rookie. Every thing he does is under control and he almost never makes mistakes.
I think the big area for improvement moving forward is his 3 point shooting. He’s been willing to take them but isn’t very accurate yet, if he can improve he will have a very good career.
Already a fan of this dude
Wish the lakers got this guy to fulfill the LA Mexican hooper prophecy. Miami is cool tho
he'll end up the best player in the draft when its all said and done
Steal of the draft maybe, but, like, Wemby with a few more years of experience is terrifying.
The thing most impressive about him so far is his defense. He’s shown a willingness to guard any position and he has good instincts there. His outside shot needs work, but his rim pressure is pretty good. He has good footwork, has a little spin move down low to blow past people and catch them off guard.
He’s been very impressive, idk where his minutes go if Caleb comes back, but he’s proven he’s worth playing in the main rotation. If the Miami heat can get a point guard, they’d be cooking. If the bulls really do fire sale, I’d fucking love Caruso on this team
Him ripping the ball from opposing stars is so much fun to watch.
This is funnier if you think the headline is the entire tweet.
Jamie Jaquez Jr is among rookies according to NBA Stats.
No. 1 in DAWG probably
What's crazy is I don't think anyone really doubted him. Tons of fans from the college base and most of us who just caught a glimpse before the draft saw his potential. I think casual types are surprise by his athleticism but even then I don't think they're shocked he's playing so well. Great to see him tap his athleticism for the nba. Poeltl in Toronto looks like he needs to do the same to stay in a competitive rotation.
Ausar Thompson also has 13 steals
