Really living up to his name with that picture
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
im ignorant but i saw his post draft shooting workout and didnt believe all the talk that he couldn't shoot.
really high on him
he can’t. he’s taking 2 threes per game.
Crazy how locked in he is for a rookie. He also doesn't take bad shots that a lot of rookies seem to take.
The biggest thing that stands out to me is how big he is and how well he moves for his size.
It seems like he can be part of a bright magic future if they get him the reps he needs to improve.
It feels like you need to provide a little more video evidence of his success bc why his +/- looks good, the rest of his stats don’t really jump off the paper.
50% from 3 is great but when you see he’s put up 10 3s, it’s not quite as impactful.
Not sure if it’s still this way but for a couple games he had the lowest usage rate of the entire rotation even though he was starting. From the few games I’ve seen he doesn’t get many touches
Gotta get that assist number up and up
That’s actually really weird. He was the point guard for Arkansas and was a really good lead distributor.
Probably just a usage thing but that’s his potential. Oversized for his position, can handle the ball well and was a good play maker in college. He’s gonna be exciting to watch but yeah rn I’d want to see his assist numbers to go up
They’re probably going to need to move on from F.Wagner and Fultz to allow him some growth. Too many ball dominant people on the team
I feel like the magic got a lot of hate for this pick and I never understood why. The guy got offers to play two sports at multiple schools, he's clearly super athletic and has good instincts on the court. They got a lot to work with there, future is bright for the kid
I think he's gonna be great too but I also understand why they got shit for it. They already had a logjam at the guard position and desperately needed spacing which Black doesn't really bring. Orlando has a bottom 5 offense from an efficiency standpoint and are bottom 5 in 3pt percentage and attempts.
I feel like this statline isn’t painting the whole picture
He's a legit defender. I could absolutely see him make a couple All Defensive teams.
Feels like he’s a 16 year old playing in the nba lol
