You know he's not playing around right?? He's literally checking the SAFETY of the new court. Making sure no area is "slippery" or anything.
Even a simple slip could lead to a horrible injury for any player. Achilles tear is common from bad landings, especially if the floor is slippery

So is he just being weird or is he like testing for grip on spots where heβs likely to be? Seems like he went free throw line area, middle of court to other free throw line, did side to side steps in the paint, then some testing along the 3-point line around where he closes out on defense/shoots.
