Seems like a fit for the Pacers. Or the Warriors. While Masai is nuts at times with his asking prices, he might be tradeable if the Raptors don't turn it around soon.

So what teams could use him?

Raptors pretty much have met expectations.

Darko really hasn't impressed at all in game.

Darko really hasn't impressed at all in game.

A player that can create off the dribble.

Basically suggesting the next trade that would take the Knicks over the top should be a wing.

So you'd have to wonder who that player would be if it's not a Lavine type that is more of the portable scorer that could work within their ecosystem. It's a hard needle to thread for the Knicks.

Either you use CP3 or Klay's $$ as the money in the trade and 2 of Kuminga/Moody/Podz to get a deal done. Markkanen would be another fit but I doubt Utah is trading him especially with his bargain contract.

Raptors are hard to deal with, but Pascal hasn't signed an extension. Lavine would mean more tax but to Lacob he doesn't care. So that could be the answer.

Thanks to Darko for A) Playing through Dennis late despite Pascal being great and B) Keeping Scottie at the scorers table for 3+ minutes despite having 2 timeouts

[–] EarthWarping@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That's embarrassing for Darko

[–] EarthWarping@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As a top 5 guy? Probably.

As a top 10 guy no.

Just trade Pascal at this point.

He's better than this and doesn't fit in the new system.

That would be ahead of notable players such as SGA, Mitchell, Edwards, Murray, Booker.

Seems like the new coach is putting a ton of trust into Dennis being a distributor of the ball. Will be something interesting to watch going forward.
