Yeah, we know Bill Parcells said "You are what your record says you are."

But which to teams do you feel are not what their record says they are?

Better than record: Cardinals only because Kyler Murray is back

Worse than record: Steelers whose luck will run out any week now. Right guys? Any week now.

I feel like it's obvious the Bengals are a good team at this point.

The only game the Vikings were outplayed in were eagles and falcons

The Jags are worse and the Vikings are better

Unbiased opinion: eagles should not be 8-1. Almost all of their games they have barely won. It takes the saying "a win is a win" to the extreme.

Falcons might not win another game this season.

What’s insane is I checked the schedule on ESPN pre season and they were favored in almost every game.

I honestly feel like GB is exactly where they should be record wise. They have been in every single game except the lions game, and they are just too young and inexperienced to close them out consistently.

I also fear that all the coaching staff and GM remain in place next year because of that youth and the fact they are rebuilding. Perhaps they fire Barry as a scapegoat, but he hasn’t even been the biggest issue this year.

Hot take, but I think the Packers are better than their record. They have solid pieces, decent but young receivers, and a good defense.

The big question is Love.

Denver is clearly playing much better than they did early in the season

I'll repost a comment I made this week about the Chargers (4-5) losses:

  • 36-34 to Miami. 4 point lead with 2 minutes left.
  • 27-24 to Tenn in OT. 4 point lead with 3 minutes left.
  • 20-17 to Dallas. Tied with 3 minutes left.
  • 31-17 to KC. Was 24-17 most of the 4th.
  • 41-38 to Detroit. Tied with 3 minutes left.

They're in every game right to the end and could easily have 7 or 8 wins right now.

They've probably dug themselves too deep a hole to get out of, but no one should confuse them for an easy W on their schedule.

Jets are way worse than 4-5, I’d argue they should be 1-8, but at best they should be 2-7.

I’m gonna say it, Philly. Haven’t most their games been one score games? Sounds like last years Vikings

We are better than our record if we had a competent coach

[–] glockobell@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I Don’t understand what’s happening to the Broncos we are somehow better than our record says but also much much worse.

[–] DaXss23@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bills are worse than their record, even though we’re 5-5 we should’ve lost the giants game and if Godwin turned around we would’ve lost that game too.

Jaguars worse, chargers better

I'd say we're pretty much exactly as good as the record would indicate, atm.

i.e. I have no idea what the hell might happen rn.

The panthers are who they thought they were. And ain’t nobody crowning their ass anytime soon.

49ers are better than their 6-3 record fosho

NFL fans: "Good teams find a way to win the close games."

Also NFL fans: "Your team's a fraud because those close games could've gone either way."

Bonus peanut gallery perspective: "Your team should never ever play games close enough to let bad officiating dictate the outcome."

Better than Record: Chargers. A team averaging over 26 ppg this season is somehow tied with the Broncos and half a win below the Raiders.
