Three first round picks. One third round pick. Two fourth round picks. He has played 12 games over two seasons. Not great.
Owed $138 million over the next three years.
Damn.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How many times can this same article be drafted in 2, and going into 3 years.
I don’t think he’ll ever been the rockstar playing top QB he was in Texas, but I could see him stabilizing as a top 10-15 QB.
He'll he fine next year
Didn’t they go 4-1 in games he finished
Yeah he played so well in 2020. But then took the year off and then just never got it going again. Why did he regress so fast.
reboot
what is he, a robot rapist?
He's never going to throw well again. His throwing shoulder bone broke. Idk how a passer can come back from that.
Good. He, the browns, and their shit ass fans who support him all deserve this.
Browns being the Browns. That contract will keep their team down for at least 5 years. They’re good this year too, closest they’ve ever been to a solid team. Watson and his contract are the only real problems.
Never give a history making contract to someone who voluntarily sits out from the game. I know it's an injury and you can't predict that, but someone who does voluntarily sit out doesn't have it in them.
Turning him off and on again?
It was the latter that was the issue in the first place
instead of rebooting him, can they just boot him?
Ok, I’m legitimately asking. Was he ever truly “elite”?
Just a few more years to work out the rust, or something like that
Oh no anyways
Let’s unfortunately be hypothetical and not bring up his disgusting character issues - this guy has played barely any games in 3 years!!! He’s looked mediocre to bad. I just don’t see him getting anywhere close to his former superstardom at all. And now the cap hit skyrockets to an insane amount. Just an all time horrible trade that will go down as the worst trade in NFL history!
Does this make it the official Brownsest move ever?
Just as he was starting to actually look like an NFL QB again, couldnt have happened to a nicer guy, love to see it.
I’m gonna hold my breath until next years up.
That defense is so good they win despite him. They could win it all now and there’d be someone out there who’d spin it to give him credit. Like the W-L record stuff.
I just wonder what team he’d go to next. Falcons?
The jets face the browns in the what if sb
Thank you Browns for taking the grenade from us and letting it explode in your face
Honestly impressive that he managed to ruin his football reputation too.
He doesn't care. He got the guaranteed bag.
When was he elite?
If Watson was playing well and stayed healthy they would be undefeated and I don't think that it's that far fetched.
Insane how bad the organization fucked up. I hope Harlan and Watson get their dicks punched repeatedly.
Karma is a bitch.
Is that what all the fingers up the bum were for, they were trying to reboot him?
Watson is actually a Chobits
Yet another/r/NFL thread full of moral outrage that risks nothing and accomplishes nothing.
Caping for a serial sexual predator. What ever gets you to sleep at night sunshine rofl.
Idk what everyone’s problem is! This has been a great contract and they unloaded some solid picks they would’ve wasted anyway.
Good.
