A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I’m gonna say yes, and start basic and funnel down from there, ie ‘do you want it brighter or darker, more focused or less focused’ and keep doing that until you have an idea of what they want.

I masked for years until the mask became the routine. Like most social things for us, practice, practice, practice.

Impossible to say for sure, but Winogrand probably was somewhere neurodivergent. There was definitely something there driving him beyond photography, to capture a scene with no clear plan on ever seeing the final image.
