I recently got the PC38X headphones and I plugged them in to listen to some music and for some reason, there is absolutely no bass. I don't understand because I just had Corsair Void Pros before this and they had wayyyyy more bass. Everything sounds like I'm listening through a tin can.

A low shelf filter on eq apo with +5dB on 150 Hz will do it

Use them for a couple days without using your old headphones. Afterwards try switching back. If you still like your old headphones more after that then you just prefer them (though that’s pretty unlikely seeing what headphones you were originally using)

Not the brand you go to if you're a bass head.

I’m not a bass head lol it literally just sounded like I was listening to music with a pair of terrible $5 headphones. It was all treble

Looking at the FR of the Corsair Void Pros i'm surprised you didn't consider those things to soudn like tin cans because holy shit that's one hell of an awful FR these have, you gotta pay me money to own them
