I get why Alridge left Portland, but sometimes I wonder what happens if he stayed with Dame.
Hot take but I think at least one of the 2016-2021 blazers teams could have made a legit run with Dame, Aldridge, CJ
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.

Was pretty salty towards Porzingis at the time when he talked shit about us on the way out, even though his brother was causing all kinds of issues.
That said, he's said he regretted some of that stuff, and I'm honestly glad to see his career thriving the way we all thought it could. Wish it wasn't in Boston but what can you do lol
Blazer fans have done a complete 180 on Rasheed Wallace. Fuck that dude lol
Mature nuanced take regarding Kawhi
Vince Carter
He doesn't deserve his jersey retired, that exit is still a stain on his legacy, but hate is too strong a word for the guy that got me in to basketball/introduced me to the NBA
Dislike is more fitting, I'd say
Poole easily. He doesn’t seem like a bad person just a dumb kid which is understandable because he’s making 9 figures at 24
Westbrook
Boogie Cousins - Kings. He was such a problem but he was one of the few that stated that he wanted to be here when the franchise was at its lowest point.
LeBron. Don't look at my flair.
Gilbert Arenas on The Magic. It was Otis Smith's fault.
Steph
Kyrie
Fultz was a complete waste of a #1 pick but I still want him to do well. His problem was never lack of effort or shitty attitude, just a freak situation.
Kemba Walker for the Celtics. Really sucked he got injured and set us back a season or two, but ultimately I think the Kemba dysfunction directly resulted in Danny Ainge moving on and Brad Stevens taking over as GM and hes been amazing in that role. Kemba also brought Horford back so really maybe he ultimately helped us long term even if he potentially cost us a bubble ring. Kemba was clearly a great person and teammates… even if the ear to ear smiles as he went 2/13 from the floor got irritating at times lol
Mike Muscala. In fact, I love him. But he damaged us greatly.
Maxey would make that team even more fun to watch. Muscala might end up with a statue in Philly lol
Luol Deng
2012 Dwight Howard on the Lakers. I was so excited, the team looked stacked with Fisher and Nash, Kobe, Artest, Pau and Howard. We all know how it turned out...
I don't hate Christian Wood, but I definitely don't want him back on our roster.
I also don't hate DWade. Anymore. Actually some of his post career stuff has made me respect him. He's a good human.
lebron fucked the celtics up so many times but i could never bring myself to hate him. also, a lot of celtics fans dislike ray allen for leaving for the heat, but i never really held a grudge for that. he’d been in trade talks for a while and felt he was being pushed out, then left in free agency. no reason for me to be mad about it
Curry
Brunson. I get why he left, but if he had stayed then we probably dont go after Kyrie and can instead pursue a wing second star. Or we do the Kyrie trade and only lose 2 of Brunson, Dinwiddie, DFS rather than being without all three. At this point things are looking nice but losing him for nothing was obviously tough
Draymond. Dude is peak comedy
FVV
As a pacers fan, I don't hate LeBron
Amare. Loved him when he was with us, but the fact he couldnt stay healthy and had such a big contract limited our ability to add pieces around Carmelo.
Josh Smith, oh wait, don't hate? I guess it wasn't Charlie Villanueva's fault Dumars gave him the bag.
This may be controversial but Jimmy butler. Yeah he was a prick about it but he had some points too!
Easy answer
Russ
Robert Horry. Most Suns fans hate him and blame him for Amare/Diaw getting suspended and possibly costing the suns game 6 and the series. I blame Amare/Diaw for not knowing the rules. Smart player and could hit a clutch shot now and then.
Steph dissected the Celtics defense in the 2022 finals, and I couldn't be happier for him finally winning his FMVP and cementing himself as a top 10 player of all time.
Kawhi Leonard ending the Mavs season two years in a row hasn’t soured him on me. Just the Clippers as a team I hate
Steve Nash going to the Lakers. He’s just so beloved it was hard to blame him for wanting a chance at a title with a super team, especially given Sarvers terrible ownership.
Hindsight softens it bc the team was a failure and we got good assets. Fun fact the Suns traded Nash twice and the assets resulted in Shawn Marion and Mikal Bridges.
Damian Lillard ended us. Still would love for him to win a championship
That's easy. Michael Jordan. 90s Knicks fan here. Always wanted to beat him but always respected him, did not resent him. To be fair, I only became a Knick fan in 94 so those Knicks-Bulls playoff battles of 1989, 91, 92 and 93 I all learned from secondhand highlights after the fact. But I was a fan for his comeback from 95-98 and did see them beat us in the 96 playoffs as well as lose to them in some other tough reg season contests, all of which meant a ton to me.
Smush Parker
Luka keeps destroying us but I love that man.
Ray Allen joining the Heat broke my heart
As a Magic fan, don't have anything against Shaq but I refuse to believe he and Penny wouldn't have won at least one chip. Also, no ill will towards Tim Duncan even though he backed out of joining T-Mac and Grant Hill.
As a Bulls Fan it had to be Scottie Pippen , He did a lot of great things for the Bulls but he wanted to be the Guy for the team but never showed he was reliable at the clutch . He had that drama in 1994 where he wanted to sit out because he wanted to take the shot but was not given the chance to , instead being given to Toni . In all reality I would have lived with a Toni Kukoc shot over a Pippen shot and Felt Pippen would have missed that game winning shot . He also signed a long term bad contract for security purposes which pretty much secured financial cap space for the team in the long run but he wanted and was forcing his way out of Chicago , even if they were still in the run for that 2nd 3peat . He made a bad financial decision and pretty much didnt want to live up to his commitment . I dont hate the guy for what he did helping the bulls win 6 chips but you cant say he didnt damage the team with his antics from not wanting to come in a crucial playoff game , to wanting to be traded to not getting surgery to prepare for the final Championship run in 98
Aminu shooting threes on the blazers.
LeBron destroyed us in the 2014 playoffs while looking like he was barely trying but he's my favorite player of all time.
Took me years to forgive Chris Webber.
Father Bron, 2019 made up for it all
I still hate Brad Wanamaker
Steph curry has aimbot everytime he plays the pels but his game is so beautiful, especially since he added more to his layup package
Blake Griffon. He made us semi-relevant for a season but that trade ultimately hurt the pistons future. But watching him carry that bum ass squad to the playoffs was fun as hell
2019 finals Kawhi Leonard. Nuff said. I will forever refer to that man as the terminator 🫡🥲
Also, Jordan Poole last season. I loved the kid, and will always wish him well. Personally feel like he is what would happen when a normal dude lands in the jackpot franchise and is thrusted into the spotlight 😂😂 I was concerned after winning in 2022 for the young group of Warriors because I was worried that they would let that early success get to their heads and stop them from putting in that work. My biggest fears were Kuminga and Moody. Turns out it just so happened to be Poole… 😭
The answer is easy for Heat fans... Dirk Nowitzki. Sooo good, love that guy
