Last time, we have a cross era matchup of Larry Bird VS Kobe.

Now, we will match up their resective rivals Magic Johnson VS Tim Duncan.

They are both 3x Finals MVP with 5 Championship Rings.

Magic is a 3x MVP while Timmy won it 2x.

Magic is consensusly the best passer/playmaker in the nba history. While Timmy is in discussion with Bill Russell as the best defensive big all time.

However, they are also capable scorers even in the clutch.

But who do you think between them is the better player?

In the last round. Larry Beats Kobe in our reddit matchup.

Greater ≠ Better

It's Duncan. Simply put, he has a far greater overall impact on the game than Magic.

Offense: Magic >> Duncan

Defense: Duncan >>> Magic

Greater overall impact? Magic made 9 finals in 11 healthy years lmfao, and was the best player for 7nof those 9.
