LIST

  1. Jokic (Serbia)

  2. Giannis ( Greece)

  3. Luka ( Slovenia)

  4. Embiid (Cameroon/France)
(He is also American now, can we still consider him international? Or he is considered American cause his basketball development came from USA?)

  5. SGA (Canada)

I think this is most people's Top 5 International Current Nba players now. Do you agree?

How about 6-10?

We have the likes of

Murray, Lauri, Gobert, Wagner, Sengun, Wemby, Sabonis, Wiggins, etc fighting for those spots.

Who are your top 5/10 International Players right now?

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Another International Player balling.

Jokic, Giannis, Luka, SGA, etc. will really run the league in years to come

Do we still consider Embiid International? Or American? Or both? (Sorry, i am not American, So Idk how it works there)

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think so too. Because many future nba players will try to be wanna Steph Curryish. And will take a lot of threes.

Lebron surpassed KAJ almost 40 decades of reign in terms of all time points leader.

What all time main stats will be surpassed first?

LIST

Wilt - 23924 all time Rebs

Stockton - 15806 all time Asts

Stockton - 3265 all time Stls

Hakeem - 3830 all time Blks

What will be surpassed first among them in your prediction?

Hot Take:

I think Fox and Hali going separate ways makes both of them shine more.

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Draft is always unpredictable.

Also, A Draftee being successful in one franchise doesn't necessarily mean he will be as good or as great in other franchise.

For ex: Giannis became the player he is now cause of the Bucks Franchise. I am not sure Giannis will be Giannis if he is drafted by teams like Wizards or Hornets.

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

We should change Under 25 to 26 or under.

Just to included Tatum, Booker, and SGA. Ngl. Hhhaha.

I am not sure Tyrese will get more votes than Tyrese to be honest

Though, both are playing great. Tyrese is a bus driver, while Tyrese is a bus conductor to the MVP.

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Positive: Kareem Skyhook, and Dirk's Post Fade

Negative:

Embiid and Harden being worse in Playoffs than they are in regular season.

Basically, the title.

Only Retired Players included. Who have the better team all time? East or West?

EAST

PG: Oscar, Zeke

SG: MJ, Wade

SF: Larry, Dr. J

PF: Russell, Barkley (Sixers)

C: Kareem (Bucks), Wilt (Sixers)

WEST

PG: Magic, Nash

SG: Kobe, West

SF: Baylor, Dantley

PF: Timmy, Dirk

C: Shaq (Lakers), Hakeem

For players who played for multiple teams

I dont wanna have same player on same team. So I decided in which team they are better. Or if they can make the other team, and cannot on the other conference team.

Who wins? Who are the players I forgot? 10 v 10?

[–] Choice-Meeting1143@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I am convinced now.

He will be a Top 15 Player all time minimum. Barring any injuries. ( When his career is done)

Basically, the title

Point Guards are balling this season

You have Superstars Luka, Steph, and SGA still competing for All Nba First Team PG Spot.

Fox has been great. And the two Tyrese (Haliburton and Maxey) are having a breakout season.

Not to mention Lamelo, Trae, and even Dame who are all having 20 ppg + seasons.

Brunson, Cade, and Kyrie are good too.

(For other Positions There are usually 2 Superstars, and then a gap after that)

So, is the PG the most talented position this season?

Closest is PF (Giannis, KD, AD, PG, Zion) but still PG have more quality players. (Yes, KD and PG are playing PF Now)

We consider Nikola Jokic from Serbia as the best player in the nba right now.

Nikola Jovic is still a very young player who has high potential. He already showed glimpsed of it.

But do you know Serbia have another 2 Nba Big Guard Prospects (Named Nikola)

Who are they?

Nikola Djurisic and Nikola Topic!!!

Both 6'6 - 6'7 Guards!!!!

In the Future Serbia might produce more than 5 Nba Players named Nikola!!!

(Nikola Vucevic and Former Nba Player Nikola Mirotic are from Montenegro. Not Serbia)

Do you agree? Who are your Top 5 Nba Players right now in your MVP Race?

Will Jokic join the 3x MVP club after this season?

LIST: 1ST, 2ND, 3RD

1980: Kareem, Dr. J, George Gervin

1981: Dr. J, Bird, Kareem

1982: Moses, Bird, Dr. J

1983: Moses, Bird, Magic

1984: Bird, Bernard King, Magic

1985: Bird, Magic, Moses

1986: Bird, Wilkins, Magic

1987: Magic, MJ, Bird

1988: MJ, Bird, Magic

1989: Magic, MJ, Karl Malone

1990: Magic, Barkley, MJ

Notes

  1. Bird placed second from 1981-1983. Then, won MVP 3 straight seasons from 1984 to 1986. He is in top 3 MVP Race from 1981 - 1988.

  2. Magic is in Top 3 MVP race from 1983 - 1990. (Actually it extends to 1991). Winning 3 in 87, 89, and 90.

  3. Mj joined the top 3 race in 1987 - 1990. Winning in 1988. (Before he dominated MVP award and MVP race in 90s)

  4. 1987 and 1988 were the two years MJ, MAGIC, AND BIRD intersected their primes. And became top 3 finishers with each other.

  5. Dr. J have 3 straight top 3 Finishes too from 80-82

  6. Moses actually have a back to back MVP 82-83) to add to his 1979 MVP. Becoming a 3x MVP.

Before he won a ring. People considered Joker below David Robinson. But after finally winning a ring and Fmvp, now the usual opinion is Joker > Admiral.

Top 5 centers (in any order you like): Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Wilt, Russell

Now, is 2x MVP Jokic already 6th?

His best contender will be Moses Malone.

Moses have 3 MVP to Jokic's 2.

They both have 1 ring and FMVP.

Jokic is likely to surpass him in accolades since he have like a decade left of playing still. (barring injuries)

But accolades aside.

Is Joker a better player than Moses Malone?

Remember Moses (and Dr. J) was able to lead Sixers in Sweeping Showtime Lakers of Magic and Kareem. He is known for his superior rebounding and putbacks.

However, Jokic is considered the best playmaking Center all time.

Do you guys think Joker is alreay a better player than Moses?

Looking Back at Clyde Drexler's Rise Back in 1992. And him being compared to MJ, Magic, and Bird.

We all know Pistons won in 1990. And Bulls won 6 in 90s decade. So East Teams won 7/10 championship in 10 seasons at that decade. (Rockets winning 2 and Spurs winning 1)

But who were the western conference champions and how they got it?

SUMMARY (90s WCF)

1990: Blazers Beat Suns (4 - 2)

Drexler Blazers convincingly beat Chambers/Kevin Johnson lead Suns (who upset Showtime Lakers). (Blazers lost against Bad Boy pistons in Finals though.)

1991: Lakers Beat Blazers (4 - 2)

Last run of Magic Johnson Showtime Lakers (without KAJ) beating Drexler's Blazers to reclaim WCF title.

1992: Blazers beat Jazz ( 4-2)

Drexler Blazers won the west again. Beating Stockton Malone Jazz.

1993: Suns Beat Supersonics (4-3)

Barkley joined suns to create a strong team with Kevin Johnson and others. Beating a very good supersonics team in a very close 4-3 series.

1994: Rockets Beat Jazz (4-1)

Mj retired the first time. So the nba was wide open. Hakeem carried Rockets hard. And they beat Stockton Malone Jazz 4-1. They ended up winning a championship.

1995: Rockets Beat Spurs (4-2)

Rockets again won the west beating David Robinson Spurs. And even winning another championship for back to back. Drexler joined Hakeem on this team.

1996: Sonics Beat Jazz (4-3)

Sonics finally after being upset multiple times previous seasons. Managed to edge Stockton Malone Jazz 4-3.

1997: Jazz Beat Rockets ( 4-2)

Stockton and Malone got their revenge against Rockets back in 1994. Beating them 4 - 2.

1998: Utah Beat Lakers (4-0)

Stockton and Malone won another wcf. Since Kobe Shaq Duo of Lakers were just too young and early thar year.

1999: Spurs Beats Portland (4-0)

David Robinson finally got help in Tim Duncan. Actually Timmy leap frog him as Spurs best player. And they swept Portland in WCF while dominating Knicks in Finals for their first championship of the dynasty to come. (MJ and Bulls were done this season)

NOTES

1991-1993 and 1996-1998 Western Conference Champions lost to MJ's Bulls as we all know.

1990-1992, it is actually Drexler who were carrying Blazers to 3 straight conference finals. Winning 2. He can't win a championship though until he joined Hakeem in 1994-1995.

Supersonics were considered a very strong team back then. But they were just getting upset except in 1996 where they ran into 72-10 Bulls. Lol

Stockton and Malone Jazz actually can't reach Finals until later in 97 and 98. As they always lose to Either Blazers, Rockets, or Suoersonics in early to mid 90s.

Basically, the title.

Which among crean of the crop superstars rivals held each other the most that prevent both of them in climbing on most of the respectable and honorable nba all time list?

MY LIST

1. MAGIC AND BIRD

They are #1 for me. If either one of them doesn't exist, the other one left will be the by far best player in the 80s. And ofc, as an effect will win more rings. (Maybe 2 or 3 more rings)

2. Kobe and Duncan

All those countless western conference playoffs matches. They were lucky they were both in West. So, their finals record is not affected by them winning/losing against each other. But still, the existence of both of them prevented each other of winning more rings

I want to put Russell and Wilt #3. But Russell won 11 rings to Wilt's 2. So, they didn't held each other.

Who else?

Summary of 1980s Decade Nba Finals

1980: Lakers Beat Sixers ( 4 - 2)

This is where Kareem got hurt. And Magic Johnson Played Center that resulted to a 42 pt "almost" triple double performance for him. Winning FMVP.

1981: Boston Beat Rockets (4 - 2)

Bird Celtics VS Moses Rockets. But it is Cedrick Maxwell that named FMVP as Celtics won the championship

1982: Lakers Beat Sixers ( 4 - 2)

Rematch of 1980 matchup. Dr J Sixers wanted revenge. But they cannot beat a Lakers Superteam. It ended the same way it ended in 1980. Magic won Fmvp again.

1983: Sixers Beat Lakers ( 4 - 0)

Moses Malone joined Dr J in Sixers. Now, they have the 2 Recent Mvps in their team. Creating their own version of superteam that SWEEPS the showtime Lakers. Moses won FMVP

1984: Celtics Beat Lakers ( 4 - 3)

Superteam sixers became just a one season thing. And now we start the Bird Celtics VS Magic Lakers Rivalry Era. Actually, Celtics won their first finals matchup in a very close 4-3 series. Larry Bird won his First FMVP.

1985: Lakers Beat Celtics ( 4 - 2)

Next Season, Lakers got their revenge on Celtics winning 4-2 thanks to the vintage performance of Older Kareem. KAJ won FMVP despite the old age.

1986: Celtics beat Rockets (4 - 2)

Rockets Surprised the league and the fans when they upset the showtime Lakers in conference finals. However, Hakeem/Sampson Rockets was proven no match against the arguably best Celtics Team of all time in 1986. Bird won FMVP

1987: Lakers Beat Celtics ( 4 - 2)

And with the Rivalry Series at 1-1. Lakers was able to break tie in 1987 when they beat their rival celtics in 6 games. Magic won FMVP

1988: Lakers Beat Bad Boy Pistons (4 - 3)

Celtics declined. And new East Powerhouse Bad Boy pistons emerged. Lakers still beat them 4-3. This is where the "phantom foul call" on KAJ issue happened. But it is James Worthy who won the FMVP

1989: Bad Boy Pistons Beat Lakers ( 4 - 0)

In 1989, Magic got hurt. And Bad Boy Pistons took advantage and sweep the Los Angeles Lakers. Joe Durmars won FMVP

NOTES:

  1. In 1980s (80-89) - Showtime Lakers Made the Finals 8/10 seasons. They won 5 and lost 3 of those finals series.

  2. In 1980s (80 - 89) - Bird Celtics made the finals 5/10 seasons. Thy won 3 and lost 2 of those Finals Series.

  3. Magic Lakers VS Bird Celtics Direct Finals Matchup favors Showtime Lakers 2-1.

  4. Rockets were the only team to deny (twice) Lakers of a Finals appearance in that decade. Ironically, both times they lost to Lakers Rival Boston Celtics.

  5. Sixers made the Finals thrice. Winning one with their superteam in 1983. But losing in 1980 and 1982 in the years prior to the showtime Lakers.

  6. Last 2 seasons of Decade, Bad Boy Pistons Emerge. And split the Finals matchup with showtime Lakers 1 - 1.

  7. According to old Heads, East was significantly superior than the West. So they argue Bird Celtics have a tough road in the conference. And even if they manage to win, the reward is playing against Showtime Lakers most of the time. (They were heavily favored against Rockets in 1981 and 1986 though)

FINALS APPEARANCES IN THAT DECADE:

WEST: LAKERS (8), ROCKETS (2)

EAST: CELTICS (5), SIXERS (3), PISTONS (2)

CHAMPIONSHIPS (80-89)

LAKERS - 5

CELTICS - 3

SIXERS - 1

PISTONS - 1

Two Main Reasons:

  1. Better Nutrition and Science Medicine Advancements.

  2. Load Management

With the way things are going. Maybe in 2040s-2050s, Superstars will still be good even at age 40-45.

To be honest

Injuries and Circumstances always happens. Thats why it is unpredictable every season.

Best Example:

2019 - Almost everybody expected Warriors will win it all fot sure. And almost nobody belived Kawhi Raptors will have any chance of winning it all (except for raptor fans ofc)

We all know what happened.
