A Kiln is a massive furnace used to burn things.

If im going to give a company my eth to stake why would I give it to a company that names themselves after a burning machine.

It makes it sound like its a complete scam and they are literally rubbing it in their users faces by naming their company Kiln because they will rug pull and everyones eth will be burned.

Its literally like me creating a new crypto wallet and calling it "hacked".

Is there any logic at all behind the name Kiln?

I could be wrong, but I think Kiln got started with Tezos. Tezos was proof of stake from day one, and they are French so mining is called baking. (French love bread I guess).

A kiln is a really hot oven.

I know nothing about this project but I do live in a town with 1 pottery kiln for every 5 inhabitants and I can tell you that a kiln is a furnace for making things.

Bro you put clay into a kiln and it comes out as pottery after. It literally is a forge.

I guess Forge was already taken.

A turns soft clay into something useful and hard wearing like pottery or bricks. It seems like a name that describes something that improves things placed inside it.

my life is mostly revolved around a company called "apple." does that make any sense?
