Honestly this makes sense. The calls to go to Heinicke were a classic example of the backup QB always being the most popular guy in town, he was really equally awful. Ridder’s not gonna make your chances of winning any worse, he’s had the best game a Falcons QB had this season by far, he’s a better runner, and you might as well see what you have in him before next season

Offensive points per game under ridder: 16
Offensive points per game under heineke: 24
Ridder turnovers: 8 in 7 games
Heineke turnovers: 1 in 3 games
Just because the Falcons lost didnt mean it was because of him.
Heinecke wasn’t the reason we scored those points though. 7 of them were actually when ridder came in
Ah the Mike Singletary 2010 approach
Just saw Nate Tice rise from his knees at a Walmart.
Should have never benched him in the first place
Snip snap snip snap
y tho?
Dumbass poverty franchise could’ve had Lamar Jackson 😂
Falcons fans flap your arms twice if you need help
Since Ridder does not enjoy throwing to London and Pitts, I choose to view this as positive news for the Bijan agenda
It’s not that he doesn’t enjoy it, he’s not allowed to throw to decoys.
While I'm a huge Taylor Heinicke Stan (Washington Fan) and wanted him to start, Ridder was winning games even-though they weren't pretty. You can't bench a guy who winning games - wasn't he undefeated at home prior to his benching?
Call me crazy but if AS can make the offense more simple than he does making it overcomplicated Ridder should do fine fod ghe rest of the season.
Chaos. And the world burns.
I wonder how close were the Falcons to drafting Howell, was Purdy even on their board? How often do teams draft 2 QBs in one draft?
All I recall about the QBs in that draft was that everyone was low on Ridder. Most analysts fell out of love with him after his second year in college. While many were high on Howell and expected him to go higher than what he did. Have no idea what most people thought about Purdy.
What's Mohammed Sanu doing these days?
You’d think a team with a great run game would go with the guy not turning the ball over 2+ times a game but I guess I’m not an NFL HC
They can’t get Ridder him.
Bring back mohamed sanu
I'm so sick of both of these people. The NFC South should be relegated.
