A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

When I first started out with photography I was really bad with getting the focus right so I don’t have many good photos. A lot of my photos back then are of my bunnies and I wanted to know if there were any applications I could use to correct these mistakes.

It annoys me I can’t use them as a screen saver because the focus is at their feet.

Topaz Photo AI is good. But keep in mind that, while it can sometimes work wonders, it can't work miracles. It's not Jesus AI. If you use it understanding how pixel information works, you should generally be pleased to pleasantly surprised with the results.

can sharpen and what not. but you wotn get detail that isnt there. it tools available will be either sharpened or AI filled with potential for artifacts/mistakes

tools like Topaz use AI for sharpening. They'll make your photos look sharper, but its just guessing at what would've been there, its not magically refocusing your image.

Are your lenses calibrated correctly with the camera?

Topaz AI is pretty amazing. It won't fix everything, and it will make things worse with its AI sometimes, but overall I've been able to rescue some memories that were otherwise lost. Again, it isn't magic, but it will surprise you sometimes.
