Haven’t been following the NBA that much. How would you guys/gals say he has been so far? Is he still a positive court presence like he has been throughout most of his career? Is he still a good defender?

Pretty good role player. A lot better than most 38 years old historically except for LeBron

  • Middy game is still there but a lot more passive in mid-range looks especially when going to the left.
  • Not very efficient though numbers indicate a largely unchanged shot diet to last year.
  • Struggles to rid ball denial.
  • Decent catch-and-shooter but with minimal off-ball gravity
  • Great post-up defender, decent on-ball with size and mobility limitations on D
  • Cracked passing and turnover minimizing.
  • Brings huge 2nd unit improvement. Kind of a QB role.
  • Dictates slower pace, which is sometimes very useful but in a few occasions the Achilles’ heel.
  • Uses a lot of 2-man games but very few PnRs, probably because of the personnel available.
  • Brings the 2nd unit PG the Warriors needed but close-game fit with Steph is still questionable.
  • Overall an A+ tier role player but not really star-caliber anymore.

No longer a star, but a starting caliber player. Elite role player
