Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

While Donald Trump was going about his business on Tuesday, attempting to shut down the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax” he perpetuated, he inadvertently revived an old conspiracy about himself. A C-SPAN cameraman zoomed in on the president’s hand while he was speaking with reporters before heading to Pittsburg on Tuesday, revealing a weird patch of poorly matched makeup caked on the back of his right hand.

He’s getting treatment for something. Treatment via an IV, and they can’t find a vein in his arm.

100% normal for any normal person. Of course he’s a demented sociopathic rapist so he had to make it weird.

This demented fool paints a circle of orange paint on his face for years and the bulk of the media doesn't even batt an eyelid, he has a small patch of pink foundation over a bruise and suddenly it's front page news.

I'm not saying the bruise and his efforts to conceal it aren't worth reporting but as far as "weird patch of poorly matched makeup goes" this patch is a lot more normal than the much weirder patch of poorly matched makeup he wears.

Only because EVERYONE knows he uses makeup and has insanely bad hair. It's just a meme at this point. This is something new at least.

I wonder if his handlers are running out of distractions so they are resorting to highlighting potential (further?!) health concerns in the hope people will won't keep talking about the state sponsored death camps in either the US or Israel.

The dude is clearly falling apart, how long can they Weekend at Bernie's him until they have to rely on class traitor, charisma black hole and couch loving JD Vance? At what point will his dementia get so bad that he starts talking about things he shouldn't?

And "hair!?"

[–] athairmor@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Looks like a spot where an IV might be placed.

[–] griff@lemmings.world 19 points 1 day ago (2 children)

that’s probably where he gets his daily bloodboy transfusion

Adrenachrome

[–] AngryRobot@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Who is he, Peter Theil?

[–] BetaBlake@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Yeah and he has catheter bags behind his calves, he's not well

[–] CatZoomies@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Really? I heard that’s where he normally stores his McDonald’s Filet-o-Fish for easy access. Ever heard of a sandwich holster? Well he’s got one strapped to each calf like no one has ever seen before, on levels that no one has ever heard of before.

He's not well and plans to dismantle the government on his way out. What a way to go.

100% my first thought. Old people bruise like hell with even the best IV tech. How does anyone get a bruise there from a handshake?

Vanity. No other reason.

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 31 points 1 day ago

Eh, this is literally at the bottom of the list of anything Trump has ever done. Maybe we should focus on the dismantling of democracy instead.

The New Yorker has an article limit, but their entire article is just this BlueSky post. Image follows.

Restorative arts perhaps (wiki/Funeral_cosmetology)?

Blatant ad for the zoom lens capable of magnifying those tiny, disgusting, shriveled hands for inspection.

Shoutout to the James Webb Space Telescope team.

This is my favorite comment. Thank you

Why does McConnell look like he lost a fight here?

[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

It's not uncommon for this kind of symptoms to present after a body has been stripped of it's soul, such as when it has been sold to the devil.

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 day ago

Yo, why this obvious drag queen so anti (better) drag queens?

Oh, it's money & personal insecurities, nvm.

[–] legion02@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

My guess is he has a liver spot he's trying to hide. He's been using makeup in the same spot for a while now.

Really? Got any previous images with such as spot or cover-up?

[–] DivineDev@piefed.social 2 points 1 day ago

It could just be a bug bite, but I'm hoping he punched a wall in anger over the Epstein files.

[–] BertramDitore@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It sure looks like he tried to cover up a bug bite or some other kind of rash to me, but two things:

  1. Who the fuck cares about what T-bag’s hands look like? He’s an unhealthy elderly man.
  2. It’s just another example of how sad, disturbed, and insecure this fool is. When most people get a big bug bite on their hand, they just forget about it until it goes away. Maybe put a bandaid on it if it’s really gross. He’s such a deeply strange man.
[–] RipLemmDotEE@lemmy.today 6 points 1 day ago

Looks more like an IV bruise to me.
