It’s not random guesses, it’s intentional fictions to make investing in ‘AI’ companies sound like a good idea.

They think they can lie their way to real AI by convincing investors to pour enough money into them that poof real AI emerges.

They’re not going to get the poof they’re hoping for.

Probably a whole lot of money laundering going on, too.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Franchise Exploitation

Nic Cage plays a space mob boss who hires Mando to guard him at his palace. Turns out he’s a huge Mando fan! They end updoing a bunch of drugs together but, oh no!, they lost Grogu. Hilarity ensues.

Be nice to people. They might not be able to be nice back. You should still be nice to them.

And it’s hard to have sympathy for someone who takes and keeps a job at a company that has NFTs as part of their business plan. “Red flag” doesn’t begin to describe what a huge warning that is to stay the fuck away.

Are you sure? It just looks child sized. ~I’m very, very sorry.~

For Steve Bannon, that’s a good time.

Contrary to the popular saying, not all publicity is good publicity.

Nuclear energy companies aren’t trying to make people think that their reactors reproduce.

AI companies are trying to make people think that their software is intelligent.

The context matters.

When I used Mullvad with the kill switch on, I could still access local network resources--NAS, printers, etc.

Is there a way to make ProtonVPN do that? (On MacOS)

I know nothing should surprise me with these fucking people at this point, but my mouth still dropped open when I read that.
