Will Lebron ever just fade away to retirement? Lol

[–] sstteepphheenn@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

What’s the difference between eFG and TS?

[–] Sternjunk@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

TS includes free throws.

[–] Baconmazing@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Effective Field Goal Percentage; the formula is (FG + 0.5 * 3P) / FGA. This statistic adjusts for the fact that a 3-point field goal is worth one more point than a 2-point field goal. For example, suppose Player A goes 4 for 10 with 2 threes, while Player B goes 5 for 10 with 0 threes. Each player would have 10 points from field goals, and thus would have the same effective field goal percentage (50%).

Which basically means "efficiency scoring the basketball by only field goals" -- no free throws included.

eFG is the ethical bucket getters stat. FT merchants like TS.

Dame's lucky he's sitting at 24.8 points. lol

Honestly didn’t expect giannis’ to be this high. His surgery recovery + dame adjustment looked rough at the start but looks like it’s really trending up. Ig also his TS is not as high as expected when looking at this though. Either way looking good, trending positively

Giannis is currently 10/11 on the half against the wizards. Dudes finishing at the rim has somehow gotten ever better. If he's within 7 feet of the basket, he is not missing that layup.

Don't confuse people. This post is about actual shooting, not true shooting

[–] DrOzmitazBuckshank@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Wait, I thought Giannis was washed and exposed? That’s what this sub and a ton of YouTubers told me.

KD and Booker being where they are despite being midrange heavy scorers is impressive

[–] Kdog122025@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Midrange is back. People figured out that open shots and players taking shots from their sweet spots is the best offense.
