Registrations for 'mastodon.social' are often closed, but you can learn more about Mastodon and register with another instance at joinmastodon.org. It doesn't matter which instance you register on - you can still follow anyone on any instance.

I've got two domains that I registered to setup regional instances of Mastodon for New York City and Los Angeles. They cost a lot to get the initial registration and I thought they'd be less expensive to renew. Turns out that is not the case, so I'd like to sell them at cost to someone that will put them to use. DM me if you are interested.

transfer them to Cloudflare ($25.18 each per year), there's no markup on the registration fees
