So fucking bad lol. It's like you can take those 4 NTs and you still are not able to even make a proper 11.

My least favorite footballs fans are people like you. Same type of person to say that Luton and sheffield are a disgrace of football for being in the premier league and it should become 18 teams now

Kvaratskhelia is comfortably the best player here but I don’t know if he’ll be able to carry Georgia past Greece.

[–] kostasnotkolsas@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

he is suspended for the semifinal against Luxembourg

[–] moaterboater69@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Rooting for Georgia just to see Kvaradona at the Euros.

[–] wescey@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

And teams like Sweden doesnt even quality hahaha

[–] yousandro@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

tbf if the playoffs were determined by the 3rd places, 3/4 of these teams would still make it

[–] RedTuesdayMusic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Georgia probably a lock here. They had harder opposition than the others in qualifiers and played well at times

[–] ollaa@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Luxembourg will qualify

[–] nozikk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Unfortunately, Kvara will be serving suspension against Luxembourg due to yellow cards picked up during qualifiers

[–] Accomplished-Good664@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Anyone but Greece. Not because I dislike them it would be great to see a new nation, I hope Georgia make it if they were an independent country in the 70's,80's they probably would have qualified

[–] yossigol@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

That's a very competitive path, and the winner would be a deserving participant:

Kazakhstan had a shot at Slovenia to qualify outright.
Greece was robbed at home against the Netherlands and played France closely at the Stade de France.
Georgia drew with Norway and with Scotland and plays Abernathy adventurous football.
Luxembourg beat Bosnia home and away, beat Iceland, and drew with Slovakia.

I think that Greece is a favorite, but not by much.

[–] Bolvane@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

To be fair idk how much of a feat beating our current national team really is 😅

Im legit shocked we could still qualify because we do not deserve it at all

[–] Mk_Change@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I grew up in Luxembourg and played football there, i never thought there would be any chance to see them in a Euro in my lifetime. Rooting hard for them, they have a chance!

[–] amusedfridaygoat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Is there a Path D too?

[–] Opposite-Book-15@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Kvara misses the Georgia-Luxemburg game due to suspension. Will be a close one

[–] domomymomo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why is Kazakhstan in euro? Isn’t it in Asia?

[–] zhantorexic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Also a small part of Kazakhstan is in Europe, and that part is bigger than half of the countries.

[–] yousandro@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

people might be shocked but my bet is going to Luxembourg

they finished 3rd place above Iceland and Bosnia, beating them both and apart from the games against Portugal they were competitive in every single qualification game

[–] Joesugins@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I really hope Luxembourg make it, super cool team to watch

[–] OpeningCultural5008@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

From these playoffs id like to see Luxembourg, Bosnia and Estonia (Estonia has no chance they scored less goals than San Marino)

[–] SavingsLeg@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lets go lluxembourgian brothers

[–] Maleficent_Resolve44@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Personally, I want georgia to make it. Greece have history at the Euros but georgia and kazakhstan don't. The kazakhs don't have the same star power as georgia with kvara so georgia it is for me.

[–] BillyFB_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

🇬🇷🇬🇷

[–] Zikudude@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Can anyone comment on the Kazakh team? How worried should the Greeks be

[–] ssgtgriggs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm rooting for Greece but I think it sucks that it's either them or Kazakhstan. I think Kazakhstan earned it too and would deserve to be there.

[–] Razzler1973@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Love to see Luxembourg make it

[–] thesublimeinvasion@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As a Norwegian, these playoffs are so unfair. We finished above Georgia in the qualifier yet they get the chance to qualify through playoff, while we lost our playoff spot because Russia got kicked out and our wins against Sweden suddenly didn't count.

Quick question, why is Kazakhstan part of UEFA?

[–] RandomThrowNick@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A very tiny portion of it is in Europe similar to Turkey. Also all the Soviet Republic’s were given the choice to join UEFA. Kazakhstan initially joined AFC but switched in 2002.

[–] buy_me_a_pint@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I would love a Luxembourg vs Kazakhstan final.

[–] UnseriousSamBtw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Inshallah Luxembourg will destroy it's opponents

[–] Garruk_PrimalHunter@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Let's go Luxembourg!! 🇱🇺

[–] Soren_Camus1905@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Greece winning it all again twenty years on?

[–] gorgonizedbyurTITS@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Would have been spicy as fuck if we had failed to qualify directly from the group stage and had to through this route. A Turkey vs. Greece final would have been wild lol

[–] kostasnotkolsas@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

and the match would have been scheduled at the 25th of March weekend, most likely in AEK's Agia Sophia stadium.

Sad we missed some proper Balkan moments

[–] yoiminsawcon@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Luxembourg better make it,Hope greece loses because i really want a new debut in the euro.
