I have a Mastodon feed on my blog through Mastofeed.com. However, it never updates. You have to completely clear your browser cache every time you want it to update. This is true on all browsers, including Chrome and Firefox.

How do I fix this? This is unacceptable.

Now clearing the cache doesn't work anymore either.

mastofeed has been quite unreliable for me as well. it marks the feed as unavailable very frequently so i have to relogin regularly to activate it again and refresh. i am considering going back to self installed app solutions available on github. i mean it is a free service so i get it. honestly, mastodon should consider including rss feed to post support internally for accounts that are designed to post updates from websites. it is one of the popular purpose of social media networks like X and Mastodon. Native support would make it such a powerful platform for anyone trying to share their content on fediverse. Anyways.

i've been running my Tumblr blog RSS through Mastofeed for several moons now (765 posts), and i don't experience this, or any other issue for that matter…

i vaguely recall some problems when i started using the service, but i was able to solve them using the available tools… did you try both « reset » and « run diagnostic » ?
