A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

My granddad was a photographer back in a day, and after his death I’ve discovered negatives from the photo shoot he did with the famous 60’s female movie star. She’s now deceased as well. I’m wondering if there’s a way I can sell pictures to the magazines or maybe a museum or a private collection?

Depends, are you strictly looking to profit, or are you more looking into preserving them for future generations to enjoy and keep your father's legacy alive? The first part is going to be difficult but there are many places that might want them, depending on whom it is, , sotheby's does celebrity memorabilia auctions. But for the later, donate to a museum. They will be able to archive them properly, perhaps even print out and share in their galleries. But it all depends on whom the celebrity is. .
