I have an ASUS Zenfone 8 and I love that even the latest version still has a 3.5mm out, but I just started poking around in the settings for my Samsung Galaxy tablet and realized that Samsung Galaxy devices get Dolby Atmos. (Movies have never been better!) It got me thinking, what phones do other auditorily-inclined people use? Does AptX/LDAC support matter to you? Does audio go into your purchasing decisions at all?

iPhone, mostly because of non audio things but iOS being bit perfect on any music application is a massive bonus.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 because it's the only phone I properly use (I also have a Pinephone, which is too underpowered to be any good and another, more ancient Samsung thing)

POCO F3. It genuinely shits on phones 4x as expensive (at the time of release anyways). Still holding up several years later.

MIUI has some annoying quirks but so do any phone OS's including vanilla Android.

This old cheap Chinese phone also supports LDAC. No headphone out but an IFI Go Link can even drive my 470 OHM headphones.
