iPhone, mostly because of non audio things but iOS being bit perfect on any music application is a massive bonus.

Having both the MDR-Z1R and the TAH ZH1Es Would be the dream for me as well! I love Sony products to death.

Yep, I have the ZX500 and I love the thing to bits. Most modern flagship phones don’t have SD card slots so being able to store all my music on my DAP, and not have to carry a dongle that hangs off my phone is great. I keep it in my pocket and forget about it.

Part of the hobby IS the gear, I can’t stand when people just keep saying it’s just about the music.

If you want it to be that way for yourself sure, but I’m actually interested in the physical devices themselves and how they vary in technology and sound.

People like to say audio is subjective… unless it’s made by a big brand. I remember seeing posters that were happy with their AirPods maxes and XM5s being shit on and being told that what they bought was “garbage”

Probably my IER M9s. It’s hard to beat due to how good it sounds and how comfortable and well built it is. It’s the perfect trifecta.

I use them daily with my Walkman, give them a bit of EQ and they sound pretty great. They are light and cancel out a ton of noise so it’s a useful piece of kit.

If you like them then money well spent!
