I get that the NFL isn’t like Boise State who tries to hide their uniforms in a blue field but at some point doesn’t it make it harder to disguise coverages, sneak receivers out of the backfield, disguise who has the football, etc when your uniform is fluorescent green? Not saying I know anything about it, just legitimately asking the question.

I think if it made a difference of any significance, then teams (that will cut any corner they can within the rules and spend loads of cash to win games) would only have darker color schemes. But just about every team has a white uniform and many of the darker uniforms like the Steelers still have bright colors that stand out.

I couldn't help but think one of the DPIs against Seattle last night would have been much harder for the refs to catch if they hadn't been wearing fluorescent uniforms and wrist bands.
