I get that the NFL isn’t like Boise State who tries to hide their uniforms in a blue field but at some point doesn’t it make it harder to disguise coverages, sneak receivers out of the backfield, disguise who has the football, etc when your uniform is fluorescent green? Not saying I know anything about it, just legitimately asking the question.

I think once you and your brother grow up competing against each other for life, at an NFL level, that makes you better. Constant day to day competition I would think teaches you a lot.

Less conditioning mandatory, less hitting practice before first live game.

The true takeaway here is that the Patriot way revolved around Tom Brady more than anyone else realized. Not only his greatness, but his willingness to take a lower salary so he could have a supporting cast.

Thursday night games. More regular season games. Shortened pre-season. All things the NFL did to add $$ but they have increased the injury risk to players including the QB.

The 1983 QB draft class included John Elway, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino bd three others, and even that group didn’t have as great a year one as the current folks.

Tom Brady is WAAAAAY better than most people even think he is. He elevated everything, made other things look good, made up for mistakes etc.
