Which ref?

That’s such a stupid fucking technical. I’ve always thought that, like it’s a good call according to the rule, but it’s a dumbass rule
He should start beating his family and boning teenagers to get some respect from the league.
I dont know whats with the refs/nba ruling on hanging on the rim this year. These dunks doesn't even look obnoxiously hanging on the rim. Plus i never seen a player got injured by overly hanging on the rim. Whats a valid reason to give them a tech?
Fucking gross ref behavior
It’s not hanging on the rim that does it, it’s the pulling yourself up
He pulled himself up, big difference
They did it. They finally did it. I now hate NBA refs more than NFL refs.
NBA refs have been on a power trip binge for years, but now they completely lost it. Everything is a tech. You look: tech. You dunk: tech. Don’t them “you majesty”: tech. Don’t call them “your majesty”: also tech.
There was probably an in-game parleys on technical fouls given.
i feel like they're calling this more for some reason. call the flops or the moving screens. stop giving players techs for non basketball infractions. hanging on the rim and celebrating shouldn't have his tight of a leash
thats not even worth even 1/4 of a tech
This rule is one of the dumbest rules in the NBA. Ad got one earlier this season I think, then I think in our game vs the Mavs or Jazz they called in on one of their players.
Like I get the showboating rule, but there’s a legit reason to hang on so you can stop the momentum and control your landing. Unless someone does a legit chin-above-the-rim pull up, sure, but this is so absurd.
NBA is getting to be geriatric as fuck lol
Bro is the anti draymond
We all thought we’d get some hilarious early season flopping calls. Turns out they randomly got super into calling the dumbest tech possible
He was just trying to be smooth, let him play.
Y’all salty because Orlando beat your ass
Rim hanging techs are getting so soft
Thank god the refs were there to step in and protect the Magic from this aggression.
I don't even understand what the issue is with hanging on the rim. Let them hang for as long as they want. Push the ball up the court and get yourself a 4 on 5 for a few seconds.
Bill shit call
that's turrible
i fucking hate boston, but come on. this is stupid as fuck.
Horrible rule. That is absolutely not a T.
BOOOOO
I see why they called it, because he followed-through and then pulled himself up. That’s a strict interpretation of the tule book. However, they should they have reviewed that, I’d make a good argument that Jayson did his best to assure himself of a safe, straight-down, two-footed landing. Rescind the call, but ego would probably get in the way.
I’ve seen Lebron do that a million times and he’s never gotten a technical.
It’s the pull up on the rim that gets everyone a tech. It’s not “hanging on the rim” that gets T’d up. The refs literally call this every time.
Did NBA cha get this rule in the offseason? This is the 2nd dunk in a week that got a tech. It used to be you couldn't do a pull up on the rim but hanging was fine. I dont get it
That’s trash af. Should be a 2.2 second grace period
Sengun just got a tech for this exact same thing lol. Ref fans eating good
What they want him to do a backflip?
Refs are ruining basketball.
These technicals are ridiculous.
The rules state you can hang on the rim to avoid hitting another player on the way down. Clearly Tatum lifted his leg to avoid kicking the guy. SMH these refs don't know the rules or have the biggest egos
I was expecting this to happen to giannis since he can’t look at anyone after a dunk
That has to be a power trippin ref that's so soft
Refs seem to want someone to have a serious injury after a dunk smh
Pretty sure he got the tech for doing a totally unnecessary pull up on the rim not just for hanging from it. Unreal that I can’t find anyone in the comments who sees that.
Rigged ass league
